SCULPTURAL GARDEN, LEWES

This garden was designed to bring together natural materials, sculptural planting and artistic details to create a space with a strong sense of structure and character. Stone elements and low-level Corten steel flower beds provide texture and definition, allowing the planting to take centre stage while introducing a contemporary, understated finish. Pyramid-pruned trees and bushes add height, symmetry and architectural interest, while carefully shaped archways formed from the surrounding hedging create inviting gateways that draw the eye through the garden. Scattered throughout the space, sculptural seagulls by a local artist introduce a playful, individual touch, bringing an unexpected artistic element to the landscape. The result is a garden that balances formal structure with softer planting and distinctive sculptural features.
